Marvel is best known for its iconic superheroes, but let's face it,We're all crazy for a great super villain. Few Marvel villains are villains because they are evil. Most often they have a tragic history, have been badly hurt by the hero-turned-nemesis, or are disillusioned with heroes, gods, or the universe at large. As a result, we tend to have villains that are sometimes even more complex and interesting than superheroes.
Meanwhile, Marvel has created some villains over the years whose power is simply unfathomable. With the Infinity Gems, Thanos can wipe out half the population of all galaxies with a snap of his fingers.Gorr the Godslayer can defeat multiple godswith his necro sword and Galactus can destroy entire planets to maintain his life force. Marvel villains push the limits of our imagination of how powerful a being or entity can be.
Of course, most of these villains can be stopped. Many have weaknesses, some can be persuaded to change their minds, and some are only human and can be injured or even killed. However, there are villains that cannot be eliminated in one fell swoop. Many of them used weapons, magic, or artifacts to become virtually immortal, and others became cosmic entities that ascended to an entirely different plane of existence. Who is Marvel's Strongest Villain? Here are Marvel's most powerful villains, from very powerful to most powerful.
10. Gorr the butcher god

Gorr the butcher god (Christian Bale) lived on a nameless planet and trusted in the gods. However, when his people died and his daughter died in his arms, he became bitter and weary. He teamed up with All-Black the Necrosword and set out to slay all the gods. With his necro sword he can kill any god, even Asgardian gods. Gorr spends thousands of years traveling the galaxy and slaying various gods, although this time is more complicated.Thor: Love and Thunder.
Gorr's Necro Sword grants him various powers that make him immortal, granting him superhuman strength, speed, flight, and resilience. The Necro Sword also gives him the ability to manipulate dark matter and summon berserkers constructed of pure darkness. With his Necrosword, Gorr is almost unstoppable. However, he does not possess any superhuman abilities of his own. Without his sword, he can easily be defeated.
9. Ultron

Like a robot created by Hank Pym in the comics who became self-aware, Ultron (voiced by James Spader inAvengers: Age of Ultron) is a unique and powerful super villain. After becoming sentient, he rebelled against Pym and brainwashed him into forgetting Ultron ever existed. So he started to improve until he reached his ideal level of performance. Ultron is also composed largely of adamantium, a man-made alloy of steel that is virtually indestructible.
In addition to being nearly indestructible, Ultron possesses superhuman strength, speed, and durability. He can fly, emit explosions, radiation, and lightning, and has superhuman reflexes and endurance. Ultron is also a robot specialist, allowing him to build multiple bodies for himself and create armies of robots like himself. Meanwhile, his god complex and bitterness towards his creator make him a particularly vicious enemy. Although it is primarily made of adamantium, its internal circuitry is not. Through magic, reduction, or other means, many heroes are able to tap into his internal non-adamantium mechanisms and finish him off.
8. In Sabah Nur (aka Apocalypse)

En Sabah Nur was one of the first mutants. Born in Aqaba thousands of years ago, he was abandoned by his parents at birth because of his gray skin and blue lips. However, he was rescued by Baal and raised by Baal and his people, the Sandstormers. As a child, En Sabah Nur was a very kind and warm young man. However, as he grows older, Baal's death and a lover's rejection pushes him over the edge, allowing his full mutant powers to manifest. Nicknamed Apocalypse, he spends thousands of years traveling the earth, convincing civilizations that he is a god and manipulating them into waging wars.
Apocalypse (portrayed by Oscar Isaac in.) is not just a powerful mutant with immortalityX-Men: Apocalypse) further expanded his powersFusion with Celestial Technology. He can manipulate his own molecular form and generate almost any mutant power at will. Apocalypse also possesses superhuman powers such as strength, speed, durability, teleportation, telepathy, telekinesis, and energy manipulation. Even when defeated, he usually manages to regenerate. Still, he must rely on technology to augment his abilities, and despite his incredible power, he is no match for Celestial or Cosmic Beings.
7. Thanos

Thanos (Josh Brolin) is an Eternal-Deviant hybrid who is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe when armed with his powerful Infinity Gauntlet. Even without the Gauntlet, this Titan native is a force to be reckoned with. His eternal heritage and Deviant gene mean he has super strength, speed, durability and is virtually immortal. He is a master tactician, capable of telekinesis and telepathy, and capable of absorbing vast amounts of cosmic energy.
All of these qualities have allowed him to wield the Infinity Gauntlet. The Infinity Gauntlet contains six Infinity Gems and when Thanos uses it, he becomes omnipotent. Using the Gauntlet, he managed to wipe out half the population to prove his love for Lady Death. In theavengerMovies because he cares about population and resources. Of course, he relies on the Infinity Gems for most of his major displays of power. In addition, while it cannot die of old age, it is prone to physical aggression.
6. Cyttorak

Cyttorak is a powerful mystical entity that powers the Juggernaut through Cyttorak's Crimson Gem. Cyttorak has existed as a deity for thousands of years and was once worshiped on earth. However, unknown circumstances resulted in his being banished to the Crimson Cosmos. In search of an avatar, he created the Crimson Gem and sent it to Earth. Whoever touches it turns into the Juggernaut.
Cyttorak is one of the strongest magical beings in the Marvel Universe. Her magic is so powerful that even wizards like herDoctor Strange invokes your name in his chants. Meanwhile, harnessing Cyttorak's power transforms the Juggernaut into one of the physically strongest beings on Earth. Cyttorak can also animate inanimate objects and once created an entire race of elves with magical energy. In Crimson Cosmos, he is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. However, as with Dormmamu, his power is reduced outside of his dimension. Additionally, Cyttorak is a mysterious character in Marvel and his lack of appearances makes it difficult to gauge his exact power level.
5. Dark Phoenix

Even without the Phoenix Force, Jean Gray (played by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner) was one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe. An Omega-level telepath combined with very strong telekinetic and psionic abilities, Gray's powers are nearly limitless. By acting as the avatar of the cosmic entity, the Phoenix Force, his powers are further enhanced and also granted him the additional powers of matter manipulation, teleportation, immortality, and the ability to create and control cosmic fire.
As Mastermind Jean manipulates Psyche, she breaks through her self-imposed barrier, unleashes all of her powers, and dubs herself the Dark Phoenix. Defeat the X-Men as Dark Phoenix and travel the galaxy. It consumes a D'Bari Star to recharge, causing a supernova that kills all civilians living on the planet orbiting the star. In the end, Jean decides to disintegrate with an ancient Kree weapon. His powers as the Dark Phoenix were just plain heavy and could have wreaked limitless destruction. In the end she was really the only one who could stop herself and her divine powers.
4. Dormamu

Masters of the dark arts and ruler of the Dark Dimension, few can match the level of power of the entity Dormammu (played by the impeccable Mads Mikkelsen instrange doctor). Dormammu is a Faltine, an extra dimension born of pure magic. However, he and his twin sister, Umar, differed from other Faltines in that they craved matter rather than energy. The consumption of matter was considered an obscene practice and her father, Sinifer, tried to stop it. However, Dormammu and Umar killed him by turning him into matter. Banished from their home planet, the two ended up in the Dark Dimension. Dormammu quickly established himself as the ruler of the Dark Dimension, making Umar his subordinate.
An interdimensional entity composed of pure mystical energy, Dormammu's power is virtually limitless. He has superhuman strength, speed, and immortality. Dormammu also possesses the powers of matter manipulation, interdimensional transport, time travel, energy projection, energy absorption, interdimensional astral projection, and regeneration. Additionally, his raw power and magical manipulation are far greater than even the most skilled wizards like Doctor Strange or the Old One. However, Dormammu has one glaring weakness: his powers are severely weakened outside of the Dark Dimension. Despite being the ruler of the Dark Dimension, he is incapable of being the ruler of the universe.
3. Galactus

As a cosmic entity and destroyer of numerous planets, few can match Galactus' reach. Galactus was originally a space explorer named Galan from the planet Taa in the pre-Big Bang universe. However, when a cosmic cataclysm destroys all life in his universe, he falls into the trap of the Big Crunch. However, instead of dying, he connects with eternity and hatches in an egg for a billion years. He then emerges as Galactus, the physical embodiment of the cosmos. In order to maintain his immensely powerful self, he consumes several planets.
Galactus wields the Power Cosmic, which is a source of unlimited divine energy and power. The Power Cosmic allows Galactus to create virtually any effect he desires: matter transmutation, transportation, telepathy, interdimensional travel, telekinesis, and cosmic consciousness. Galactus is immortal and has almost limitless abilities. His power is such that it is truly immeasurable. His only known weakness is that he must consume planets to maintain his energy and power, otherwise he could lose weight.
2. Ego, the living planet

Before he was a living planet, Ego (played by Kurt Russell in theGuardianseries) was a scientist named Egros. He tried to save his planet from a mysterious cosmic being known as the Stranger. The stranger conducted an experiment in which the sun on Egros' home planet went nova. Egros failed to save his people and the experiment resulted in him merging with all living beings destroyed by the sun and becoming Ego the Living Planet. Over time, he launched several attacks on other planets and managed to destroy them.
The whole plant of the ego is alive and controlled by your consciousness. He can transform his planet's surface to mimic a face, he can swallow humans or any being on the planet's surface, and produce giant tentacles to go into space. Ego also has psionic powers that rival those of Galactus. He can destroy an entire starship, create humanoid beings from his planet and guide them across interstellar distances, read minds, scan one's biological structure and bring consciousness to other planets. He can now also travel through hyperspace at tremendous speeds. Ego wields the power of an entire world and is so powerful that he and Galactus had to stand still during the fight.
1. Hereafter

The Hereafter is a cosmic entity that was a member of an ancient supernatural race known as the Hereafter. After observing the earth and its inhabitants, he came to the conclusion that humans are incomplete and need to be in an emotional state in which they want to be complete. As a result, he kidnapped the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe and sent them to fight on another planet called Battleworld as an experiment. Later, try to destroy the entire marvel multiverseand is interrupted by a large group of Marvel superheroes.
The Beyonder is by far the most powerful villain in the Marvel Universe. He can manipulate and control matter, energy and reality on a cosmic level beyond what other cosmic beings can do. He can warp reality to theoretically simulate any power desired. The afterlife was powerful enough to nearly destroy the multiverse, and possesses a power millions of times greater than the power of the multiverse combined. He can destroy an entire galaxy, create a universe from his being, and kill Galactus like a fly.
Of course, the character has been retconned several times in Marvel Comics, with his latest version having significantly reduced powers. But even when reduced, he still retains his cosmic-level reality manipulation powers and is surpassed in power only by a select few cosmic entities. In more recent versions, he is still the most powerful villain in the Marvel Universe. In his original version, however, he is the most powerful of all characters in the Marvel Universe, good or evil.
